Sunflower Senior Portraits in Waxhaw
Last year as we headed into fall many of you locals may recall the sunflower field on Providence Road in Waxhaw. The field was planted anonymously for all to enjoy, gather, and take pictures. We were all super excited because now there is a place right here in Charlotte for gorgeous sunflower senior portraits. One of my 2019 senior model reps from Weddington High School, asked if I could do a quick session with her there. I was more than happy to accommodate!
Brooke and I headed to the field after she got out of school. We shot for about 45 minutes total with one outfit change. It was a pretty sunny evening with nothing to filter the light, so shooting conditions weren’t ideal. Also, editing sunflower pictures was a bit challenging for me. All in all, we were happy with the results and have had some great feedback. These images have been nationally featured and published on various senior sites and senior industry magazines, including the Senior Inspire Hall of Fame. Next time these flowers are in bloom, be sure to contact me to set up a photography session!
