I had a great senior portrait session a couple weekends ago with Sarah. The real miracle here is that not only have their images already been delivered but that I’m already blogging about the session. Blogging either never happens from my sessions or you might find it posted a year later. I’m def gonna start working on that! In regards to image delivery, I do try and keep that speedy. I know how it feels to wait for your images so I do try and get them done as soon as possible.
Sarah’s is a super easy going girl and I enjoyed shooting with her. If you notice she is pretty much smiling or laughing in all her shots. She was funny because I couldn’t get her to NOT smile, so we definitely had a blast! I was especially excited for the track portion of her session, especially because we got to get a silhouette! We started by having her make-up done by my pro artist, then gathered her stuff and headed to the park. I loved the tulle skirt and Frye boots she picked for her outfit! Such a fun combo. We shot at the park for a while then towards the end of that part of the session her dad met us there with her dog, where we did a few shots of her and her fur baby. I often add dogs into my shoots. Heck, I once did a family shoot with dogs, horses, and chickens!! Not even kidding. It was super awesome, not easy but they turned out to be some of my favorite ever. So, I do encourage you to bring pets and props to your sessions. Whatever helps to make your session uniquely yours!
